Geotechnical Services

RJ Lee Group delivers comprehensive geotechnical testing and materials evaluation services that support environmental, infrastructure, energy, construction, and mining projects nationwide. Our multidisciplinary approach combines laboratory testing, scientific consulting, and forensic‑grade analysis to provide reliable data for critical engineering, quality, and regulatory decisions.

As part of these services, RJ Lee Group operates the Columbia Basin Analytical Laboratory (CBAL) in Pasco, Washington, established in 2015 to support work at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Hanford Site. CBAL specializes in soil physical property testing and holds accreditations from AASHTO (formerly AMRL), A2LA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the U.S. Department of Energy/Defense (DOECAP). RJ Lee Group also maintains a Washington State Radiological Materials License, enabling CBAL to receive, analyze, and manage samples with low‑level radiological contamination for projects in regulated environments.

Quality Control and Quality Assurance Credentials

Accurate geotechnical data is critical to sound engineering decisions, regulatory compliance, and project performance. RJ Lee Group uses strict quality checks and assurance methods for all geotechnical testing to make sure the results are reliable, consistent, and meet project and regulatory standards. We design our quality systems to minimize uncertainty, reduce noncompliance risk, and provide confidence in soil characterization data used for design, construction, and environmental decision-making.

Through standardized testing methods, analyst training, third-party accreditation, and formal validation programs, RJ Lee Group delivers geotechnical testing services backed by documented quality, traceability, and regulatory acceptance.
